of South Africa. This program provides the students with the unique opportunity to perform in other

countries and to display their abilities while still in training see also.

Etienne is driven by the ever present desire to further improve his voice and expand his singing capabilities.

Thus, he is currently studying with Tenor Peter Gougaloff and Soprano Catherine Aschenasi.

His latest challenge is to train his voice in the old Belcanto style.

About The Cooking Tenor, the wide range of his repertoire will include music performances

from well known Operas, Musicals and Operettas, love songs from Italy and France, as well as traditional

African music and other romantic chansons. All songs will, of course, be performed in their native language,

that is in Italian, French, German, Spanish, English and Afrikaans.

Cooking

Etienne started cooking during his classical music studies in the U.S.A and the fusion of his African home, his European ancestries and his studies in the U.S.A. resulted in a cooking stile not found in any restaurant.

Preparing regular meals at his Family lodge www.maquedalodge.com he constantly expands his cooking style and enjoys using old European traditional food with a African inspiration.
